Oh how I love SPRING! I even love when it rains because I know flowers will be blooming and the birds will be chirping. I love the smell of green grass freshly mowed, I love SPRING! This card made me think of a beautiful Spring day. I used a piece of scrap paper that had been reused in a cut machine for a previous project, A silhouette cameo cut out butterfly with liquid accents used for the body, along with this beautiful image from Digistamps4Joy.

I make cards every so often nowadays and today I decided to go see what my old teamies at Digistamps 4 Joy were up to. I seen they had a sketch challenge going and within about an hour I decided on this image and just went with it. I intend to add more embellishments but unfortunately my son is sleeping in my craft room these days so I had to leave it as is to get it entered into the challenge in time. Next issue my camera card does not get recognized by my computer after numerous attempts and I had to photograph with a cell phone so the quality is not so hot. :(

My first attempt at the Pear Dishcloth. Originally this come from a pattern for a pear hotpad but I converted it to work for my swap theme of a Fruit Dishcloth and in an earlier post I showed the Pear charm that I added for some fluff to send to my Crochet swap partner.

Isn't this just the cutest little cupcake? I had to try and whip one up. I had first thought about a key chain with the cupcake charm dangling by, but it could also be used for a zipper pull and other nifty items. I am happy with how it turned out!

I finished this set of beautiful Spring flower Cotton coasters! Aren't they pretty! I started them for a lady who wanted to order from me, at the time I made three when I went back to finish the set I ended up with less petals on the flowers so I had to make another set. Yes I am thrilled that I had to make more because I love coasters! I toss these everywhere and they get plenty used in my home! :D

My first project attempt at Tunisian crochet. And boy was it a pain for a first timer. I would not recommend this project for anyone for their first time. The site in which I found pattern did not include decrease stitches so I had to figure that out on my own, but that is how you learn isn't it, by trial and error. I still love how it turned out, but until I get more practice under my belt I don't think I will attempt this one again any time soon!
